Yah, there was a video on this. Basically they’re all post-processed by the same (person/studio?) entity, to maintain a similar look/feel. Which means in movies like Spider-Man, where you need the colours to jump out at you... they don’t.

I really hope that problem with color that Marvel movies usually have doesn’t affect this movie, which is not a Marvel Studios movie. Especially since Amazing Spider-Man 2 was probably one of the most colorful and vibrant-looking superhero movies ever.

It would be shame if he left right when we got a new show runner that may give him some better scripts to work with.

I’d love him to stick around for a while, myself. We never got the opportunity to see Matt out from under a different showrunner and I’d hate to see that happen to Capaldi as well.

I really, really want to see what he would do with a new show runner. I’m afraid he’s going to be NuWho’s Colin Baker: good actor saddled with bad material. I’ve really enjoyed his cranky older Doctor—it was very much needed change (and nice rod to some of the earlier Doctors)

I loved the 10th and 11th, but Capalidi’s older and more cynical persona was a necessary direction to take the character. I hope he stays on a bit.
