Agreed - I put the bait and switch on the marketing team, but with that said, it was not a bad episode to have new viewers jump into, although the Helen Slater Fixes Almost Everything bit at the end was a little much.

I knew going in that the Supergirl episode would be peripheral to the crossover, because it was made clear in the press releases and interviews. It was only the network’s promos that gave the misleading impression that it would be a unified 4-parter. Which just underlines how important it is to mistrust advertising.

I think you just quoted Kevin Smith’s own opinion of himself.

And somehow he was still the better candidate.

I’m old and remember it. Mondale ran on the platform of telling people he was going to raise taxes and deriding primary opponents by citing the tag line of a Wendy’s commercial.

It’s so nice to see science when so many Americans espouse to this:

It is humans fault, specifically Chinese humans who concocted the global warming conspiracy.

As a Gleason, I prefer Toots Shor’s.

Under the Trump Administration we will all learn that its not humans fault. So quite complaining. The winning is about to start and it will be yuuge. Don’t you know he has a secret plan to fix everything so turn that garbage heap frown upside down and think of the winning that is coming.

Because we are supposedly intelligent and self aware and therefore should realise that we don’t really have any right to be arrogant given our behaviour here.

And now boxing is a shell of what it used to be and nobody cares, shit changes all the time.

Boxing Day is next month, HamNo. Every year the hype around this holiday starts earlier and earlier.

When you don’t consider field position, time remaining, 4th down, the longest field goals in history were all made on this same field, or the field goal winning the game and a 10 yard completion not winning the game,   your comment almost makes sense.

Maybe the color graders knew what they were doing but the Marvel films still look uniformly awful. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from working in the entertainment industry, it’s that sometimes you can be “right” but you’re still wrong.

I personally do, mostly because I can no longer tell the movies apart. I, personally, feel that in creating this massive shared universe they have fallen into the same reasons I stopped reading superhero comics. Everything bleeds together into one massive story that is pretty much unintelligible and nothing that

Really? You should open your eyes more then.

I don’t think bvs is muted at all, the colours really pop in that film, as does my soul when watching it.

i am really curious if you could go into more detail. i’ve had the same thought about marvel films i’ve seen in theater and on dvd. the color is dull. i realize this might be a stylistic choice, but why? i’m also assuming that your experts realize that very few watching these films are doing so on a properly color

Cartoony over saturation? These are comic book superheros! That’s EXACTLY what I expect!
