I’m not sure “for the money” is a rational answer, as the original show is in rerun on multiple channels. The residuals have to be coming in at a constant rate.

It mystifies me that this kind of absolute bullshit is being played off as some “conservative” counterbalance to the standard “liberal” entertainment.

She’s a symptom, not the disease.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit reports the Flash solo film will not be titled Flashpoint, after all—

I really don’t understand the outrage; people that gave away their right to privacy when they signed up for Facebook are surprised that Facebook sold their personal information.

“saved the entire franchise”? It most certainly did not need “saving.”

Yeah, but it still feels tired and rehashed.

Paramount sold Cloverfield Paradox and Annihilation (for non-U.S. markets)

What is Paramount selling to Netflix? I hadn’t heard that.

So yeah, if you were wondering why Discovery was a prequel, that might be part of the answer. Not only are the JJ films off limits, but Star Treks 1-10 are as well.

I was going in there expecting mutants fighting and good action.

Not to rehash anything, but what were some of the gripes with it?

Damn.

How the hell is “Emergency Goalie” not already a feel-good sports movie?

He’s one of their regular go-tos.

Oh my god. How could an adult be sexually attracted to a CHILD?

“I know what everybody’s gonna say: Why didn’t you just leave? Well, because this asshole told me when I was 13 that I was special, and I don’t have any self-esteem, so I believe it.”

That could indeed have been it, in a real-world sense. But the Academy makes sense for Sisko as a character.

Who’s that? I’m quite sure she’s never been in any episode of Star Trek. Ever.

The actual Niners logo is even cooler than your header image.
