The easiest is to raise tuition rates.

Yes, they probably will. But that’s a separate issue.

You don’t live in Dearborn or near it, do you?

And yet, it happens every day....

Sure, Duke might do that.

Do you think that the current high cost of a Duke education was because they were paying the teachers too much?

That raises an important discussion: to what extent are people permitted to discriminate in commerce? Individuals are free to do so carte blanche: boycotts are analogous to the baker’s situation, but the roles are reversed. So to what degree can a business do the same to its customers?

My point is this...where does it end? Why does there have to be a law for everything? Muslims push to have no pork served in school and want it a school board “law”.

The religious couple finds out and thumps on the other couple’s door. “You can’t do that! It’s (insert word of judgement here)!” Or, the gay couple finds out and thumps on the other’s door. “We’re married. You HAVE to accept that because the law says you do!” Neither is correct.

As to forcing gay people to marry in a church, I never understood gay people wanting to get married in a place that doesn’t accept them. If a catering hall denied them, that’s is a different story.

gay abortions

They didn’t see homosexuals walk through their door and refuse to bake a cake for them or let them buy a pre-made cake.

And yet, legislation is being passed in this day and age to discriminate against decorations, music, holidays, food in schools...where does it end? Religious, lifestyle, it doesn’t matter. People scream for rights, but only theirs and if others are lost, who cares?

What rights are homosexuals being denied by being denied the right to marry? Pretty much every right I can think of can be conferred by contract outside of the institution of marriage except one — taxes.

That’s ultimately what many religious folks are afraid of: being forced to actively comply with your lifestyle rather than passively ignore it.

Churches are now being sued for not hosting gay weddings and reverends refusing to officiate gay weddings

They’re all freaking about religious law taking over the country (i.e. Sharia), but they don’t realize it’s already been happening..

I’m trying to share what the Christian belief is regarding this hot-topic

Gotta give me some credit, it takes time to respond to the deluge
