All the well-handled deaths in this one made the big death in TFA look even dumber than it was at the time.

They didn’t build it that way a second time - the “fuse” was that a simple torpedo could make its way from the surface to the reactor. For the second Death Star, they actually had to fly into the unifinished superstructure and derstroy the reactor themselves.

Earlier this year WB/DC killed Superman in the second movie of his rebooted story. Hey, new Superman! Killed in sequel.
