“is anything wrong with the message were all in this together? there will never be a time where every group of people are segregated. all people of every color religion etc need to unite together. one person doing it their way wont change anything. its needs a collective approach”

I think you’re absolutely correct. Scott Simon says that “modern polycarbonate helmets have let players weaponize their heads.” They pass the consequences of their play years or decades down the road. Take away the body armor, make them feel the hits directly, and play will change.

“All players know the risks by now”

Honestly? No. As bad as the NFL is, college is infinitely worse. Colleges don’t pay their players, they protect those who break laws, and they don’t even provide medical coverage down the line, as the NFL does.

I won’t let my kids play. No way on Earth will they ever strap on a football helmet.

“And you “You big crybaby. It’s football, it’s supposed to be rough” people can cram it. Times change and the league should be able to change with it for the safety and long term health of its players.”

Noboby in Jersey wants him around. His best hope for another job is to fight Rudy Giuliani, Bartertown-style, for the Attorney General position in a Trump administration. Hence Christie’s rising desperation.

I thought she even let Conway off the hook a bit, but it was still the best interview I’ve seen in a very long time.

“It’s not like NBC doesn’t have better people! Maddow was right there!”

I’d love to do that, but I can’t stomach the thought of giving them clicks.

“A private citizen getting paid to do speeches is corruption?”

“It’s hard to find a good horror movie that does not involve the sexual assault of a woman. I’m not sure why; it’s such a lazy ass trope

“Ann has dished out ugliness as well, but never to that degree.”

Hot take: I actually expected her to be good in this format.

I seem to recall Comedy Central roasts of Joan Rivers and Rosanne Barr. They were pretty feisty, predictably rowdy and nobody complained, not even your mythical “SJWs”.

Thank God airline pilots don’t have this attitude.

Perhaps she thinks that Donald’s company will hire her?

You think Rudy’s firm can do that now? Just wait until he’s the former Secretary of State.

Yeah, but there’s a difference between occasionally going on Fox News and being the Attorney General of the United States. Which is exactly what both of them think they’ll get.

“Here is what I don’t get. Can Katrina Pierson ever get any job, ever again? I mean maybe she can get some new job and such, but could she ever be a surrogate, work in PR, or be a spokesperson ever again?”
