I’ll tackle that second question. To preface this, I am transgender and medically transitioning.

“ You claim, rather unequivocally, at the beginning of your review that Dishonoured both lacked “character” and “charm.” “

Because he’s said over and over and over that it’s not meant to be a multiplayer game?

Seeing as the game starts you in random outer solar systems with the goal to go to the center of the universe, It might go against their vision of the game.

I don’t see why they shouldn’t put in a mechanic to group up with friends. Eg. I add x friend on psn when they are online. I see a marker on the universe. I can jump to them. Or I can jump to their solar system and see a map distance numerical reference that shrinks to naught when I am within their vicinity. Shouldn’t

Let me read some recent headlines...

See, on the flip side. The voiced protag has completely changed the game for me. I have never felt this invested in a Bethesda game’s character before. The voice is the best addition to the series, to me. I really hope some of the feedback doesn’t dissuade them from doing it again in the future. Though they do need to

If you support Gamergate, why are you on Kotaku? Shouldn’t you be boycotting us?

Stores do receive games a good deal before release, and the Witcher 3 especially looks like it was done in advance more.

...no? Lol. Worldwide shipping isn’t a “DO IT THE DAY BEFORE” kind of process. To ensure everyone has the game at launch they have to start shipping it out a two to three weeks beforehand in case anything causes a shipping delay and so the big retail stores can get their stock sorted.

Huge stores will usually receive the physical copies weeks before release to their main warehouse, and then they ship it out to their stores a couple of days before release. This is how it works with some of the huge Scandinavian chains atleast.

I would consider that marketing, no different than the developers releasing a trailer. That said, today we found out that the developers actually showed the entire world that unicorn scene an entire month ago though a trailer. Conan wasn’t the first to show it!

Wow this seems really early. Who the hell is even receiving physical copies at this point to sell them early? don’t physical copies ship so they arrive like the day before, or as close to day of release as possible?

To be clear, what GamerGate does is not “organized criticism.” Organized criticism would be fine. What GamerGate does is, among other things, 1) send hundreds of tweets to Stephen telling him Patricia should be fired; 2) flood me and other targets with all sorts of messages about how shitty we are; and 3) create daily
