It looks like a door stop.

Since the power cable on the dashcam I got is just a mini usb cable and the charger output 5v, I ended up getting a 15' mini USB cable with mine. It gave me plenty of length to route it where I needed it.

I like the writeup Torch, but I'm going to disagree with you on one point. I don't want GPS functionality on mine. Reason being, is let's say you do get in an accident that's totally not your fault. But let's say you weren't paying attention to your speed and you were doing a few mph over the speed limit. There's

Even ignoring that, thieves can steal mail/packages with ease!

The driver is on the right side of the car so they can drive along and put mail in mailboxes.

I'm pretty sure he's making a reference to Elon Musk being Hank Scorpio and not about Tesla's cars catching on fire.

I'm in the same boat here with the cassette adapter and no 3.5mm aux jack. I got myself a bluetooth-3.5mm aux adapter and a female/female 3.5mm adapter and plugged those into the cassette adapter. The result is a poor man's bluetooth music streaming setup. It works pretty well actually.

Oh man. Now if only all IT people had that. I think we'd all be a lot happier.

I've been trying to figure out a way to stuff an empty rack in our server room to hide a beer fridge in. I just need some old servers that I can gut and put in there to give the illusion of equipment. Although our VP has access to the room and is a bit nosey, so I don't know if I could get away with it. *sigh* A

We've got several buildings at my job, each with a comm room. Each comm room has a chair in it, specifically for us to have a place to sit if we're hiding.

I've never understood the complaints about the WRX and it's looks. It started out life as a tarted up Impreza. The WRX has always been about the go fast and sideways bits first, and everything else second.

This is the best response ever to a circle jerk. Saved for future use.

I'm in New Mexico, so warm and dry are par for the course around here. Hmmm....

I would prefer manual, but I can live with an auto if it's a good auto. Crap. Now I might have to go test drive one.

I actually like the SS. I would even consider getting one, but I just can't quite swing $50K for it. That and I'm still a little leery of GM. The fact that I currently drive an 03 Saturn doesn't help that perception any. But who wouldn't like a performance sedan that is, for all intents and purposes, invisible?

It's ridiculous how much alike parts of California/Nevada/Utah/Colorado/Arizona/New Mexico/Texas/Oklahoma all look.

Looks like you've got yourself a fine adventuring vehicle there. Whereabouts are you located? It looks a lot like NM, although most of the southwest looks like that.

Sounds a lot like the caliche here in New Mexico (and could very well be the same stuff). It's hard as a rock when it's dry, slicker than snot on top when it's wet, and like glue once you start getting bogged down in it. It's definitely interesting when you try and go mud bogging in it.

No love for 16:10 ratio screens? 'Tis a sad day indeed. For those of us who prefer 16:10 here's my two recommendations.

I have a T240M myself. Awesome monitor. I saw a T260M on Craigslist a while back that was going for a good price, so I picked that up as well. Good stuff.
