These style trailers are designed to haul things like cement, flyash, and other dry materials of similar nature. A quick google search tells me that these are called dry bulk trailers. We're reaching the edge of my knowledge in this field, so if somebody with more experience wants to chime in with more detail or

I decided a few months ago that I wanted LastPass on my phone, so I went ahead and paid the $12 for the year. Looking back I wonder why it took me so long to actually do it. They seem like they're an awesome company that really cares about what they do.

I don't know about where you work, but where I work you can submit software requests to get software approved that's not already being used. You might see if they have something like that in place and go from there.

No worries man. I mean, it is the internet. I think people flipping their shit is the standard, required response. I'm sure somebody will be along shortly to remind me that I'm being entirely too calm and rational. Then they'll turn on my caps lock, break the key off, and punch me in the face to get me good and

I'm not losing my shit at all. I'm simply trying to correct a misconception. Yes, most people call them cement trucks. They're wrong. Is it a minor thing? Yes. It's still wrong though.

I've been really lucky. I dropped out of college after a year, and in the time I would have spent there accumulating debt and getting a degree that meant jack all in my field, I gained a lot of real world experience. So much to the point where good companies don't care about my lack of college and instead like my

Yeah. If you do an image search for 'Cement Truck' you get tons of pictures of concrete mixers. In order to find a picture of an actual cement truck I had to search for 'Cement Bulker' or 'Cement Hauler'. I'd love to replace their concrete with cement and see if they finally learn the difference between the two.

You're likely right. I was never in the industry (save for a couple of summers in high school), but my dad operated and then supervised mixers (and their drivers) for 18 years, and most of that was when I was growing up. He's always called them mixers and as such, I've picked up the terminology.

Yeah, it's a losing battle, but I keep fighting it anyway.

Not true at all. Cement is a dry powder composed of limestone and various other minerals. When mixed with water, sand, and gravel, it becomes concrete. Concrete is the material that the truck was hauling. Cement is hauled in trucks that look like this:

This is directed more at the comments and less at the Raphael.

This. A thousand times this.

I think more rail would be good for everybody, Jalops included. If we have more people on rail (going cross country, regional, or otherwise) it means we have less people clogging the roads. I also think we need to increase the amount of freight that's transported over rail. If we reduce semi-truck traffic to

The various governments in this state are all ridiculous. We have delicious food, a rather nice landscape, but damn if corruption ain't the norm around here.

Perfect! Enjoy your star.

Meanwhile New Mexico is sitting in the corner eating glue. Seriously. I love my state, but our various governments are all crap.

I think it's more of a footnote gmuslera is putting in. You see it all the time on places like Reddit where the poster will put a TL;DR at the end of their post with a short summation. That's basically what this is, just a commenter putting it on instead of the original poster.

Also the crews are the ones who do the accident cleanup. All of their cleanup tools are on the truck and they need access to them during the process. Since a final cleanup is the absolute last thing that happens before leaving the scene, the firefighters (and their trucks) are there all the way through.

Better yet, screens on the back of every car with bouncing tits. Then you'll always pay attention to the car in front of you.

Oh man. If I had the money I would buy the shit out of this car. I love me some old school fastback Mustangs.
