Crap, Jamie Lee Curtis =/= Annie Lennox. Nothin' to see here, move along.

She can tie me down and feed me all day any day, as long as she sings Into the West the whole time, I will love her for it.

Fuck yeah, Asti and Jane Eyre.

Had to listen to Mr.61Below's tea bagger friend rant until he argued a complete lie, and I shoved the phone away. He called the Mr. back, called me, and called my husband back again, just to argue that his pastor said he was right, listen to him he was right. Oh I got so angry I ended up picking a fight with my

God dammit, Minnesota, you snow seven times this whole winter, and you had to snow that night?! Fuck all. #Rage

So, just to be clear: I need to cover the house with cheery post-it notes scrawled with CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF M€{*,!{*\€R!! XOXO :D and it's all good? Finally, a solution!

"But those shoes are so pret—EURGH!"

See, my sensei loved heels (so long as we were able to run in them) because stilettos make such perfect weapons.

When I was in high school, I had a pair of comfy heels I always wore. When they finally wore out, I noticed that flats felt wrong. It didn't hurt, but I felt like I was stretching just standing. Heels are only an occasional indulgence, now.

Wait, that's not normal behavior?

I'm pretty sure she turned it down because the sleeves weren't "substantial" enough.

"If someone comes after you, drop them, then run. Of course, your first step should be on their gut or their face, but you never retaliate." —my old Judo sensei, who is all 5'1 and the spitting image of Bilbo Baggins. I'm glad you got away safely...

"Don't insult God's creativity by insisting on cookie cutter people!"

It's just that much harder to clean up!

Ron: "Isn’t there any way of putting yourself back together?"

Yep, under the same screen name.

How on earth did they even get that much? I thought Colbert jumped in too late to be printed on the ballot and that write-ins weren't allowed?

Have you looked at Brooklyn Tweed patterns? I freaking love everything they put out, though mostly I troll through the free patterns on Ravelry.

My gram taught me how to knit when I was a girl, too. You know, there are so many good YouTube videos for learning how to knit. I'll still look up videos for abbreviations I can't recognize. You could surprise her with a scarf the next time you see her!

I cannot say it enough: the pictures do no justice at all to the Three Irish Girls' colorways. They glow. They change color depending on the light. They are so vibrant they're alive. I made my own hat before Christmas out of Roisin and I have enough left over to make a pair of socks, but I haven't gotten to them yet.
