Er …. you might want to think about that last line. The wonderful English language and all that, not quite but close enough to be taken as yet another euphemism for something that could get you arrested in public - and I don't mean murder.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Thanks for that link. I'm glad you posted it because it led to this link:
I think Rachel's a villain that is an interesting contrast to Helena. Helena's like an unguided bomb you fire at a target but it may take out much more than you expect and even blow back on you. Meanwhile, Rachel in many ways is more dangerous. Methodical and calculating, she can be very precise and directed indeed.…
Those were traumatic events but believe it or not, a decent number of people survive things you wouldn't believe (quite often even worse than what we saw). Over my working life we've had some people go through the grinder and back and somehow we put them back together again and they ended up being able to go home.
I'd better get out of here now before I get penalised for abusing a privilege and being punished by being forced to wear clothes at work as a penance.
The 50th Anniversary had the best possible run we could have hoped for. The Night of the Doctor, An Adventure in Space in Time, The Day of the Doctor and The Five(ish) Doctors was as close as a perfect run as you could realistically hope to get.
Could we please request that one day the Five(ish) Doctors gets an article of its own (preferably incorporating what I think was a review you wrote as a post inside The Day of the Doctor comments section and with the rarest of the rare grades, a well deserved A+).
In a remarkable co-incidence by someone in no way affiliated with making the show (and hence with no foreknowledge), they came up with this in March of 2007, well before Time Crash aired (or possibly was even made).
Interestingly enough, I think this is the first time she's played her age, it's usually a lot younger. As recently as 2009, she played a 13 year old.
He has his uses. For starters, I'd say he was the man to go to if you needed to do an emergency barbeque in a hurry.
God, I hope she doesn't get poached by Hollywood before the show is completed to everyone's satisfaction. I don't want her to risk going from the central actress in a critically acclaimed hit with a dedicated fan base to a bit supporting part at the periphery of some Channing Tatum "inspired by true events"…
Those combat boots were made for walking.
A lot of Australian TV. To be honest, nothing that really leaps out to me that I'd go out of my way to see.
… and yet … "Tatiana Maslany was born to Dan, a German-Canadian woodworker, and Renate, a German translator …"
The credits have a different name for that part. Also, I did watch one of the special effects features on youtube and Kathryn really doesn't look that much like Tatiana.
I can't take credit for that. Someone else noticed it in one of last season's comment section. I, much to my embarrassment did not work it out even though it was bugging me that I knew him from somewhere and have seen every single episode (and webisode) of Battlestar Galactica.
Well, here's hoping the show gets a big sophomore surge in terms of viewers after all of the critical buzz of the previous season. You'd think it would since it both so highly regarded and more people know about it now, a lot of whom I'm sure had been catching up on Season 1.
Quote of the episode goes to Felix (It was the delivery that sold it):
From experience, I can attest that it helps to have your subjects as relaxed as possible before you bleed them.
