It’s not Christmas for me until I hear Lou Rawls sing “Merry Christmas, Baby”.

My fiancee likes to put a little dab of sriracha in the bottom of the egg white before adding the filling. Mmmm.
My fiancee sneezes in the form of a scream - seriously, it’s like she’s screeching at the top of her lungs - so instead of “bless you” I usually respond with a startled, “JESUS CHRIST!”
Which I guess is kind of a religious response after all...
You are, of course, correct and I STILL get cornea and retina confused.
Every cat I’ve ever seen begs to disagree.
I just purchased a pair of the Cloud II’s for use with my XBox One. I’ve found the sound quality to be great, though as I had been warned the surround is not really like a real surround system - but that’s tricky with a headset format. I’m happy with my purchase with one exception - I’ve got a pretty big head, and…

Really? In the pulp - the remnants of the juicing that are usually discarded or composted...
I think you’re confusing juicing, which absolutely does remove material in the form of the pulp, with making smoothies, in which the entire fruit or vegetable is pulverized and mixed.
I’ve heard this concern raised over juicing, since it removes the fiber that regulates the rate at which the sugar hits your bloodstream. That’s not an issue with smoothies, which keep the fiber.
Is there anyone who actually believes the “five second rule” is really a thing? That is, an actual scientific rule rather than an excuse to eat something that fell on the floor?
I was actually going to comment on this very thing - my downstairs detector is sitting on a table in my dining room because it’s so close to the kitchen that I can’t cook anything on the stovetop without it going off. I don’t feel good about having it disconnected but I need to be able to make dinner!
Salsa Lizano from Costa Rica - I use it on everything. Great on eggs and especially avocados. I’ve got a chili recipe that uses a generous amount - nom! Slight sweet and smoky.
Gerry Lopez and John Milius surfed together, that’s how.
Completely disagree on the humor and preferring Destroyer...what I loved about Barbarian was that it WASN’T campy, it didn’t go for the goofy laughs - it was arguably one of the only sword and sorcery movies to take itself seriously instead of copping out and apologizing for the genre by making it campy. The set and…
So…we know nothing, about Jon Snow?
At the risk of exposing my Tolkien pedantry, that map scene in Two Towers bugged me, only because the map does not show Minas Morgul, the Tower of Sorcery - the major city in opposition to Minas Tirith! Who the heck drew that map?
I am conflicted by the fact that you wrote "puss" but I'm pretty sure you meant "pus", which means I'm thinking about both at the same time. Thanks a lot.
Fez and Minecraft are my standards but I've also been listening to Frozen Synapse a lot, and have been known to chill out to the Aquaria soundtrack. Jim Guthrie's work on Sword & Sworcery is really diverse but a lot of fun. All three of the Portal 2 albums are great. And I'll still fire up Guild Wars 1 and Myst and…
They did briefly show this in the same scene in the movies, though it's easily overlooked. It was the one elf-wanking bit that didn't bother me.
"Legolas watched them for a while with a smile upon his lips, and then he turned to the others. `The strongest must seek a way, say you? But I say: let a ploughman plough, but choose an otter for swimming, and for running light over grass and leaf or over snow - an Elf.'
With that he sprang forth nimbly, and then Frodo…
