I got a great sit/stand desk from Autonomous, and I change my work position frequently. I go from sitting to standing at least ten-twelve times a day. I definitely feel like my whole body is more engaged than the old days when I would just slouch in a giant cushy office chair for hours on end.

Is it possible that I’m the first to note that the “Cantwell Class” star destroyer design is an almost direct interpretation of one of the earliest Star Wars (aka New Hope) designs, created by Colin Cantwell, who just passed away fairly recently?

Thanks for the warning; I started it last night and even with the advance notice it hit pretty hard - I had to put my sweet old dog to sleep a few months ago; it was very clearly her time, she was crashing hard, but it still hurts. But the scene in the game didn’t feel gratuitous or manipulative.

USAA does as well.

If they haven’t already started talking to Rose Leslie for the role of Aloy, they need to get on that stat.

The TV remake of The Stand was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen on a screen.

I discovered this through a “Best of 2021" list somewhere; I was up super early because I was stressing about (waves hands wildly at all the things) and saw the description; I installed it and started it up and immediately felt almost a shiver of relaxation as it just washed over me. Love it.

I’ll be leaving it on - I don’t understand people who speed-run through games like this, though I won’t judge them. Really. I promise. But I’m enough of a purist that even the “infinite stash” bothers me because it’s just not realistic...
