I just started using lanolin instead of chapstick (at the recommendation of someone on Jez) and it has CHANGED my life. I only use it at night, and I no longer need to carry chapstick with me during the day

Totally agree with this. Karlie also has a very good working relationship with Vogue and has a reputation for being laid back and going with the flow.

Nope, no choice. You get hired and you show up prepared to shoot. A lot of elements of a shoot are usually kept between the creative teams and editors. I do the same; I’m thinking there is an editor somewhere who is going to take the real heat, not Karlie.
