That GT will also reliably fit someone with a bit more height and girth.  While also able to haul a couple of kids or dogs.  Granted you also don’t realize that a Mustang is freaking huge until you drive one, they are long and wide.

The fact that Sam Bradford will probably take a snap in an actual live game for some team this year is a testament to how truly stupid the NFL can be.  He has never been anything other than a sub par broken less than adequate QB yet still gets jobs.

See we’re making progress

While I don’t fully agree with drh3b, I don’t agree fully with you either. I know some people with master’s degrees that are worth about as much as my 2 ply bulk toilet paper from Costco. I mean that’s fantastic that you got a Master’s Degree in Psychopathology of the West African Endangered Field Mouse, I would like

Wow great rebuttal. Intelligently worded and complex all while driving your point home.  I love the nuances in your response, it really brought out the plight of the common man.  With responses like this I feel like we can resolve all the worlds problems.

Yup just checked, Florida is not one of the states where Costco apparently sells diesel, so you would be paying market price for those dead dinosaurs.

I don’t recall seeing diesel at Costco though, 86 and 93 at mine.

Nope, by then I hope every one of them have been crushed and turned into those crappy throw away bottle openers that the give out at shows.

Ever seen one driving down the road with a tail light full of water.  This is just a minor example of why these were terrible in almost every way and completely irredeemable.

I have never heard the 454 referred to as a small block. The small blocks were 305, 327, and 350 (I know there were earlier 200+~ small blocks, but they weren’t as popular). The big blocks were 396, 409, 427, 454, and 572.

Then what do you define the old 4.0L and 4.3L 6s? Ford’s truck engine used to be a 300 cu in roughly 5L straight 6 before they started using the MOD motor which started at 4.6 for an 8.

A 5.7 block in a Chevy isn’t all that much different than a 5.3 or a 4.8, it’s just displacement of fuel. Same with the 4.6, 5.0, and 5.4 Fords.  Stroke, cam, and bore are really the only major differences, other than like fuel rails, pumps, and injectors, but again we aren’t really talking size just capacity.  It

I think you’re overestimating on the chrome factor. What’s there looks dirty and tarnished, but not rusted out. Even if you had to replace the front and rear bumpers they’re like $1500 for a front and rear set. This thing isn’t a 50s chrome behemoth there isn’t that much bright work. What doesn’t polish up can be

It’s a first year C3 convertible shell with the hard top, if it’s in good shape I would imagine so. A ragged out #s matching 1st year C3 with its original engine probably goes for no less than $10k. If you want to pick up a later 70's shell you can probably get one of those for around a grand in roller, but it won’t

I don’t get the CPs for this. If it isn’t too hard to get a car this old titled in your state then this is great project starter. Assuming from the body condition that any fiberglass work has been done, the frame is straight, and the rest of the parts are there, you’re getting a 1st year c3 for cheap. It will never be

I’m sorry but you can pry my cans of Hot Rotel from my cold dead hands.  Chili and cheese dip are not the same without at least one can of those.

Why in the world would you buy one of these amorphous blob convertibles when you could have a Mustang or Camaro convertible? Those actually look the part and are fun to drive.  A convertible has to be a car you want to be seen in not a generic bubble with the roof cut off.

If my grandfather had offered this to me I would have jumped on it, that’s a sweet ride for a teenager. Unless the aforementioned grandkids are all girls I don’t see why they wouldn’t be ecstatic to get a free sweet truck.  As for the ad $15k is too much, needs a bit more done to it to earn that price tag. Wheels and

Man this is a really detailed and well thought out post. Wait I live in Florida, it was like mid 50s this morning and I didn’t even need a light jacket. My car is fine.

Not in the US, aluminum is the accepted spelling here.
