NPOND That alone is just one of many curious choices that this site has made for worse. I don’t remember if it was ever explained why the change from NPOCP, but by that point I wasn’t coming here every day and when I did I bypassed the vast majority of churned out shit for the few good articles.

You’re not wrong, it’s kind of mean to all of the people who aren’t going anywhere to see those kinds of messages. On the other hand these comment sections are the only contact we have with you and your management. It isn’t so much that I think we don’t read and appreciate your articles, although there are a few

Locking Picking Lawyer on Youtube did this to a titalium lock titanium aluminum.  The only problem with this is, it will also react with the steel.

Maybe it was a later one, I didn’t realize at first that there was a major refresh in 2012.  Ours were definitely the super terrible 1st generation.

It does appear the 2012 refresh got better engines. The ones my company had used a wheezy 2.0L that made 135HP. Those got a turbo 1.6L, a 2.5L, and eventually a direct injected 2.0L.  I’m sure those were better to drive at least.

They did it was called the Transit Connect and it was shit. Company I work for bought them as fleet vehicles, Ford imported them as passenger vehicles stripped the rear seats and sold them as utility vans, but there were passenger versions. Random bits just sort of fall off for no real reason. Interior plastics,

100% This. Even if everything worked I still wouldn’t Nice Price something like this with that kind of mileage. The big thing is everything doesn’t work. Fuel gauge, sunroof, driver’s memory seat are all things that on a car like this would probably cost you some serious coin to get fixed by a mechanic. German

I’m betting this thing is already at peak value.  As boomers start dieing off a lot of classic cars that subsequent generations just don’t find cool are going to drop in value.  Late 70s malaise garbage will probably be the first to go.

Needing a Torx instead of a 10mm is literally the worst part about this.  One of the gears from by glove box’s slow drop mechanism had popped out a few months before I needed to change the filter, so it was a good time to fix that while I was at it, but it’s not that bad of a job.

What are you talking about?  I have an S550 15 Mustang, it takes like 15 minutes to change the cabin air filter.  You have to drop out the glove box just like every car I’ve ever owned that had a cabin air filter.  Pretty sure my 06 Tacoma’s was the only one that was actually easier to change since you didn’t have to

Just because it has a Toyota badge and is mildly rare doesn’t make it valuable. That’s priced about $3k above where reasonable money should be. It’s underpowered with a crap load of miles.

Or just do what Cleetus Macfarland did and buy a disused race track.  Don’t have to rezone it for it’s intended purpose.

I don’t know Cleetus seems like a pretty likable guy.  He lets his friends rip his track helps them with their builds.   Just seems to want everyone to have a good time.  At first glance yeah he seems like a bit of boob, but after watching the channel awhile it’s a lot of fun.

New wheels for an Aston aren’t going to be cheap, cheaper to have them repainted, but still annoying when you get lower mileage versions without the hideousness for less money.

Wheels that don’t belong on an Aston and a boring color make this a CP. It doesn’t have to be a loud bright color as that would be even more awful, but if I want anonymous silver I wouldn’t be buying an Aston.  While I’m sure anyone who has the money to buy this can get all of this fixed, why not just buy one that

I had an S10 that had this problem it was 100% something to do with the truck, I filled other cars at the same pumps and had no issue. I always had to hand squeeze the fuel filler to slow the flow, if I used the auto fill lock it would cut off every time. I considered replacing the filler neck, but sold it before I

The EcoBoosts have not been the problem.  The warranty claims are on other stuff, transmission issues, faulty seatbelt tensioners, AC evaporator cores, door latches, heat shielding.  The engines themselves have probably been overall better than the Triton motors that proceeded them.

I have a feeling he’s going to make his tech talent figure out ways to spin the problems as “user error” and make them pay for the repairs instead of Ford.

He said he wanted a vehicle not a grounded oil tanker.

Now playing

I would rather have a Jeep XJ or ZJ than a ZR2. The 4.3L was an okay motor, but the interior plastics are just waiting to rehearse that scene from Jurassic Park 2 The Lost world with the big pain of glass cracking into a million pieces. Also have you seen that video of the Blazer crash test, nightmare inducing.
