and his Golden Globe speech just made me resent him for thinking he deserves to be nominated. I love his movies, and I loved the Martian, but his attitude was a bit off.

What about the Ori weapons from Stargate? And the energy of the Stargates themselves? How about the Mega-Stargate from the Ori storylines?

I don’t care how many... I saw it once and was done with it...it’s nothing like Star Wars or Star Trek... I can’t wait until Star Wars boots it out of the top grossing movie spot... I never once thought it deserved that much hype. Same with Cameron’s Titanic... total crap!

They could use the time that they’re filming Episode VIII to shoot additional scenes for an extended release of TFA.

it did work with LOTR... after all.

Hey no need to troll... we all share our opinions here... I just think you need to take the film for what it is... don’t over expect things, you’ll always be let down!

and what about the transmat, or beaming technology? I would have thought after 30+ years they would have developed such tech!

I knew that trench run was coming... and I still enjoyed it... I like the reboot concept of this movie and thought it was done well.

Lots of politics that weren’t covered in this movie... the prequel trilogy had too much politics, and the original trilogy had just enough to get us through the story...

I think that they could have kept the empire and the new republic, and not have had changed any of it... but whatever... 30+ years... bound to happen

exactly, the movie was a REBOOT!!! and it was great for what it was, and great for what JJ Abrams did.

I agree with many of your points, Charlie... though, the last point of the moving being a rehash of the original trilogy seems important and a way to capture the next-gen of Star Wars fans... this is why I wish people would all take the movie for what it was, a very nice reboot of the franchise. It’s exactly what the

that’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw the trailer in the theater prior to SW:TFA... Bears like that, DO NOT exist in the middle of a South American Jungle... just seems so odd.

it does look like DV’s helmet, in the picture above... I agree

Intersting... so now BBC America is truly making an “Americanized” version of Doctor Who, at least Douglas Adams’s vision from the Tom Baker Era!

agreed. they did a good job, and hence the writing and acting were quite well done. Maybe season 2 wouldn’t feel as bad since we understand him as a character more... I particularly feel that the camera shots were super close-up on every actor in the show so that you shared their “personal space.” That’s a very

Wow, never thought it would be possible to feel a panic attack when watching a TV show before. But I can imagine that you must have felt claustrauphobic. I think the show is meant to feel that way... meant to fell as though we’re thinking and acting directly inside of Elliot’s head.

have you watched Jessica Jones? I think this show ranks up there with it!

Can’t go wrong with Orphan Black either!

Agreed, this show is fantastic! I put it up there between Banshee and Jessica Jones. The fact that there is so much internalized drama and schizophernic issues shows what a great actor Rami is, and what good complex writing the show has.
