Yes, I totally agree with you on this. Some more "monster of the week" and let's go to Gallifrey with a new Master episode or two (something on the order of "The Deadly Assassin") in a self-contained double episode... but also not too many filler episodes, and maybe a Captain Jack episode for Series 7.5 in Spring

Yes, and I think Being Human UK is on at the same time, or at least overlapping by a few weeks from Dec-Jan? And of course Misfits (UK) comes out this winter too... oh boy!

and Matt Smith is excellent at the role too! As is the rest of the cast! Stephen Moffat prob had to take a paycut to do DW, but prob still makes a ton because of all the other writing, producing, and show running credits to his name!

the view of science and research now-a-days is a more engineering approach. Give me an equation and I'll patent it, and give you a $100 billion! Research is fundamental to everything!

God's wife's name.... is that what the books on Kobol told you? or did the angles of Baltar and Caprica 6 come and visit you?

Physics and mathematics as well as other sciences interact with us on a daily basis... ok, not the HIGGS BOSON, but...

Maybe her and River Song can meet in the Matrix on Gallifrey? since they're both part of the collective now... oh yeah, the Borg fit in there as well...somehow!

And for Being Human (the North American version) and Fringe, it's supposed to be Boston most of the time!! Both are both filmed in Canada too!

Ummm... Stargate SG-1 and its follow-on series did great for the many, many season that it was filmed in BC, Canada, while tending to be set in Chyanne Moutain in Colorado, and of course other planets, and moons, and such... :-)

I bet the BBC can't afford to pay him anyhow to play the role of the Doctor, no matter how perfect he would be in the role.

yeah, and his 50th Anniversary that's been in the planning since the 20th Anniversary in 1983 (with "The Five Doctors" Special Episode).

I find gingers/red-heads to be hotties! Yum!

Ok... this time @CharlieJane, I disagree with you about #Torchwood. I just watched the finale, and I actually enjoyed it. In keeping with this posting, I'm not going to give away any spoilers. There are some things the finale could have kept out, especially in the final scenes... 'nuff said... but I think the end was

Those are all really good points... we'll see what the Moff has for his series finale this year to see if any of that comes true! But I could see why Doctor Who is totally in a "mind-f*ck" state right now, which is very seperate from the "real world" that Torchwood could be taking place in.

Out of that list, there are 4 I'd see in the theatre.

I just think since the show focuses on the "dark" uses of powers it gives such a great twist on the superhero (or anti-hero) story.

And no mention of "The Facts of Life" cross over with "Diff'rent Strokes," or "The Muppets" and "Sesame Street?"

I would love some Jason on Hoyt or Hoyt on Jason action... (dirty me!)

I think it will be a good movie... not like we need more of the same kinds of movies with deadly viruses killing off the planet's population... but the director is good, and the cast is good... now hopefully the writing will be good too. My guess is it must have been quite well written for the director and the cast to
