There was one back-and-forth between Aeon and Trevor which almost had the rhythm of their original banter. Beyond that, there was nothing to distinguish it from any other YA Dystopia of the last decade.

TLJ was a broad deconstruction of Star Wars mythology on dual levels, picking apart some of Lucas’ more stodgy ideas as well as breaking down in-universe Jedi (and Sith) cruft as well.

That’s my only real criticism, too. Similar to the droid factory, conveyor belt shenanigans of Attack of the Clones, it feels like a set piece designed solely for the inevitable Lego Star Wars adaptation.
