This PSA wasn’t about specific drugs, just drugs in general. Many people have been arrested for all kinds of drugs, including pot, and the PSA is about how people of color are far, far more likely to be arrested than “their white counterparts”, essentially ruining their chances at a stable future and normal live.

I’m with you on that one. Trump U, the steaks, all the bankruptcies and lawsuits... I don’t think he’s a smart business person, and for sure he’s in the red - financially :-)  We live in a time where such people can still be considered “wealthy”, but i too believe that, on paper, his net worth is below zero.

The key word here being “budget”. The Canadian Prime Minister has a budget for a second residence, but it’s within a given budget. It doesn’t seem fair to me that taxpayers are footing the bills for his weekend resort getaways.

It’s like an eerie Dystopian movie with hypnotized pod people unable to perceive reality. There’s a Trump supporter in my very immediate family, and their only arguments to specific issues are vague statements such as: “he’s smart; he’s a good business man; it’ll be good, you’ll see”. This person is highly educated…

How is it even permissible for her to choose to stay in NYC if it costs tax payers 1 million a week? All that money could be going to health care, immigration, the hungry, it could do a lot of good in NY.

Yea I was confused too, because without the comma, “technically” it means the story is about Amy Schumer (who is): an emergency bathroom stop and a $2,000 good deed - but who really needs the comma to know the story is about 3 separate elements, c’mon.

Saw it too and absolutely agree: the JLaw point-of-view makes it a much more compelling movie, and by not knowing his POV we imagine worse scenarios about his intentions, heightening suspense. I like a happy ending but the proposed alternate is much more memorable.
