Orville is created by a great team of ST fans who excel in their respective fields - pretty sure some worked on shows you mention in your spot-on dream team.

Have you checked out The Orville? It’s pretty much an homage to TNG, with a solid cast and good scripts, imo.

I live in Canada and at grocery stores I can buy hummus: plain of course or with added ingredients such as onions; garlic; olives; roasted red peppers and more!

I actually don’t get a sinister vibe from Pratt at all, but I think he might be going through some kind of “grandiose” phase (especially given past 4 years) where he thinks he’s got it all figured out with Jesus and ‘merica and maybe guns, but hey, we’re not in his shoes so I guess time will tell :-)
