Oh, definitely. I go to the same location of the same grocery store 97% of the time. That other rare time I go to a different location, everything is laid out differently. It’s not a huuuge deal normally, because there are signs and there isn’t a pandemic. If speed is a goal, stick to the same familiar location.

Nice of you to bring this forth. From her writing I assumed she is a determined critter, but this solidifies that thought.  Some people are really lucky in having great neighbors.

He didn’t take nearly as many risks with this list as he did with his Twitter account.

Thats what happens when you throw a Spanfeller in the works.

Boomers wern’t making aspics in the 1400s...

That’s effectively what’s happening in New York now -- the supermarkets have implemented “one-way” aisles. Sure you can skip an aisle, but be very sure you don’t need something random that they shoved in with the baking supplies rather than the pasta where it actually belongs. It’s a nightmare. I would honestly prefer

Pre-pandemic I filled a digital cart with goods and was about to complete the order when I remembered I like going to the grocery store. So I deleted the cart and wandered the aisles instead.

So what’s the recipe for putting a stapler in jello?

Ask 45.

Good to see Equilibrium get some love. Excellent B-movie shoot ‘em up.

The boomers’ parents, maybe. Boomers weren’t buying refrigerators until well into the 1960s.

I don’t eat meat so I find it really annoying that many yogurt companies use gelatin. I guess it’s to help with the consistency? I don’t know- jiggly yogurt is fucking gross but whatever.

I remember big families used to mix half regular milk with powdered milk+water to stretch their milk dollars. It doesn’t sound so bad.

I don’t think Parks & Rec did either... The idea itself wasn’t bad, though. It’s a choice. I think it’s just increasingly harder to create a satisfying ending in a world where people are binge-watching shows either leading up to their finales or just viewing them that way initially. I might be wrong, but most highly

That’s a good summation of the show and why it’s ultimately disappointing.

When I was a kid, a friend accidentally poisoned me with a baloney sandwich made from ancient, unsafe ingredients. I spent some time in the hospital with the sluices at full on both ends, couldn’t keep anything down for a month and change, lost over 80 pounds and generally had a really bad time. I clearly remember the

The two dudes are morons. They display a bare thread of historical knowledge fed to them by producers with zero depth, and couldn’t figure out how to grill a cheese sandwich between the two of them. It’s a complete waste of a fantastic show concept. Chris Farley’s “Remember...That was awesome!” character adds more

Right? Never thought it would be something I’d watch, but I do.

There’s a show called Eating History where two dudes actually eat old food, like really old food. It is as disgusting as it sounds. But, that doesn’t stop me from watching.

Can’t” is the problem here because it is in fact not can’t, they believe it’s safe but don’t know for sure. Viral transfer possibly could occur in the throat before swallowing and then inhaled into the lungs, but that’s apparently far-fetched.
