They did change Frodo’s age. In the books he is 50 and just starting to get towards middle age for a Hobbit. In the movies he was aged massively down to around 18 (Elijah Wood’s age at the time they started shooting).

I think the porting later is good. 1-2 years would be better than 2-3 but it should depend on how long it needs. Looking at you Last of Us Part 1. It’s good they want to support the box I paid for first. More ports of older games would be nice but I fear how Sony might handle trying it’s own PC store front.

The $250m is *JUST* the salary. The majority of CEO earnings do *NOT* come from their salaries. It comes from stocks and compensations. So if he’s being paid $250m in salary, he’s being paid *AT LEAST* that much in stocks and compensations. So it’s not $250m vs $430m. It’s $430m vs $500m at minimum.
