I think it’s fair to identify a portrayal as overly tropey, especially when those tropes are grounded in attitudes towards people that can be harmful.

But also like... “seek to connect body size, mortality and food”? Those things... are very much connected. More food makes you bigger. Bigger people die faster. Those

Your failure to recognize a market sector’s growth doesn’t somehow cancel out that growth.

‘if I stick my head in the sand and shout continuously, reality will warp to my expectation’

“Natural” monopolies are still bad. Microsoft is already so large it should be broken up into a software company, a cloud service company and a gaming company.

This is maybe one of the top five worst takes ever posted on Kotaku.

There are actually tons of Quidditch leagues across the US. Granted, a good number are trying to change the game’s name from Quidditch to disassociate from HP/JKR (or simply because they don’t have the legal rights to use the name Quidditch), but to claim this will fail because it’s a sport that doesn’t exist is

Both of those things are factually correct though, Pokémon are literally pocket monsters, and a monster can definitely be classified as a character

I’m not sure it should be necessary to recruit an entire other human to fix a game’s broken pathfinding and poor design choices.

Have you seen some of the content around here lately :)

I didn’t say it was pointless. Kotaku wouldn’t have published a review if it were pointless! I said reviews will make no difference to the success of this particular game, because it’s predestined to be a juggernaut.

There’s not likely going to be anyone telling a future employee that he did that.

As someone who sees shitloads of confidential information daily, I don’t know how he’s going to get any job with any private data that he might see because no job is going to go, “Well we understand, you made a poor choice, here’s another chance.”

Screw GameStop for paying and treating their employees like shit but like...don’t violate company policies and leak shit should be really simple, basic, easy “How to not get fired 101" shit. Especially if you leak things through accounts that are in any way, shape, or form traceable back to you. Especially if it’s

Was that a typo? I think you meant “Paul W.S. Anderson makes a lot of shit”.

Sorry for correcting you, but I know if I said something like that, I’d want someone to help me out.

the “PC Master Race” stuff is so gross

I find it highly unlikely that in a combined multiplatform count of let’s say a few thousand, that only 5 people complained about this.

Lol might be five now. Played this when it first came out and thought it was “different” enough to be interested. Booted it up recently and... nahhhhh, I’m good. It has NOT been supported very well.

Who doesn't love the good ol' mustard rice.

I never played the game myself, but as of 8 minutes ago, there was over 1000 people playing on just Steam alone.

The drawbacks of trading digital goods on a service abused massively (easily at that) by spammers and bots, I guess. Glad that they seem to be taking action, just hope the amount of high profile false positives doesn’t make them roll back their decisions in bulk lest a load of less-than-kosher accounts get unbanned
