I just simply stated that The Handmaid 's Tale was written first so the show runners wouldn't make it into a version of such a new book by comparison . I think people are stretching .

I just watched this episode and am I wrong in thinking the commander screwed himself because of the part he played in the decision to have Emily's clitoris cut off. I think June was starting to dig him up until he admitted that and Nick got the sex instead.
