The original Dark Forces game always has a special place in my heart as the piece of Star Wars media that took me from enjoying Star Wars to it becoming a way of life for me. Dark Forces helped immerse men in that world. Let me see a story behind the movie and from that point on I wanted more and more.

I’m a strong proponent of Rogue Leader as the best Star Wars game, at least as far as vehicular combat is concerned. It’s the game that feels like the movies. 

Dark Forces anyone? DOOM and Star Wars mashed together ... what more could a gamer want in 1995?

The Titans look dangerous to me: can run the ball, QB who doesn’t make mistakes and is on a hot streak and a pretty good D. Whereas the Texans...no idea what the hell is going on there after seeing the Broncos blow them out.

To those of you who have not read “The merchant and the Alchemist’s Gate” from Chiang’s collection, i HIGHLY recommend it. It’s an amazing story of potential, loss, and miles above “Arrival.” (Not that Arrival was bad, but I like the message of Merchant more. Could just be the “I’m getting old” in me.)

Hopefully it won’t get lost in all this that the main villain of the story is Eric Rudolph - the conservative, anti-choice, anti-gay terrorist responsible for several bombings (including Olympic Park, two abortion clinics, and a lesbian bar) and the deaths of at least four people — including a police officer.

Jewell’s suit wasn’t dismissed because he was a primary suspect. It was dismissed because the Court determined that his voluntary participation in media interviews made him a limited purpose public figure, which changed the standard of proof required of him to prove defamation from a preponderance of proof of negligenc…

I was surprised Dan wasn’t a bit more hard on the letter writer. Lot of red flags in there. And what couple can have the pegging conversation, but can’t discuss limits or safe words?

You are completely correct. That being said, it’s an indictment of our society and culture that there’s such a thing as a “luxury truck”.

Assuming that’s the baseline price, and that you actually plan on using this for ‘work’ (hauling, loading, etc.), it’s probably looking more like $60k once all the extras are added up.

Sometimes grown-ups find a thought or an idea that’s new or strange, hard to describe. Just like we all do. If we move to a new town or walk in a new park, you or I, or your mom, or your dad, might want to describe this new experience with new words or new phrases. These words and descriptions over time can catch on…

I disagree. I’d much rather have a well-paced 20 hour game than a game stretched to 40 hours. Almost no games are Witcher 3 best-of-both-worlds.
