Stacey’s recent behavior, dangling imaginary candidacies, doesn’t really make much sense. Why is she doing this?

Some States will settle on imminent threat of a lawsuit, because defending a tort case can cost more than paying the benefit.

Charlize is not single, because she is a late bloomer.  She is single, because she is a horrible person who could only have an LTR if she were to pick a real saint of a guy, and she usually chooses jerks while Sainted guys tend to avoid her like the plague she is.

This was during the shutdown, so the usual White House banquet and chefs were not possible. I guess fancier takeout could have been arranged, from the Trump Hotel... But, Trump is often a cheapskate “Billionaire,” and it was allegedly on his dime.

It would have been O.K. for Wohl, a washed up media personality to file a false police report in Chicago, where Kim Foxx would have his back. But not in Minnesota.

That qualifies you to be a member of my fanclub.  Congrats!

Wall Street supported Obama.  Wall Street supported Hillary.  President Obama obviously got a pass on that.

Rosetta was wise in a way. She did nothing. If you refuse to get off the plane and actually do any small and stupid thing, if she had even touched an attendant or made a threat, she might have faced twenty years in prison, like many people including wypipo who don’t like the service on airlines, end up doing, also

Umami!

The very words “Press charges,” are words that have very little meaning. Police say those words to deceive victims into feeling empowered and part of the decision to prosecute. They mean only that the alleged “Victim” or complaining party wants to cooperate and make a statement to police. They can’t force police to

I don’t dispute Rosetta’s and other passenger’s version of events and I will be surprised if any criminal case is prosecuted against Rosetta. But, even if wrong, the flight crew can have passengers removed for any reason. If the flight crew lied and they file a false report with the police, then they can be prosecuted

Locking Rosetta up was a bad decision.  Prohibiting police from making a decision on the spot to arrest people might also be a bad decision.  Ultimately, there is a human element and there are not enough people who only make good decisions and both want to be police and qualify to be police.  Too many of them want to

Rosetta can sue the airline for the vomit on her seats and daughter, for compensation for her inconvenience. She cannot sue the airline for her arrest and twelve miserable hours in jail, because the police and not the airline were responsible for that.  She can sue for more or less anything, but no Court will hold the

Ilhan Omar used a “Nomorethoughtsandprayers,” hashtag to politicize the Chabad shooting, herself, and without any regard for the irony or optics of using that when the victims are worshipers.  Obviously that is going to offend a lot of people and draw negative attention.  Either she wants it or she has some

I don’t dispute that the airline was horrible and that Rosetta’s complaint was completely reasonable. The problem is that she was on a commercial aircraft and when you are on an aircraft, it is like being on a ship at sea. You have fewer legal rights onboard, even when the plane is on the ground. This is why despite

I could not find anything. I was apparently wrong that police might be liable for allowing a suspect to escape.

The police are absolutely required to remove passengers from the plane, any passengers for any reason, that the crew wants off.  Jail was the decision of the police and they had discretion to decide whether that was necessary, although the local police department or the state might have some law or regulation about

I agree that she can win a lawsuit and had she been wiser, she would have simply documented her miserable experience and quietly left the plane with the intention of seeking compensation in court or a settlement, saving herself the twelve hours in jail and separation from her vomit encrusted daughter.  The police

Pump brakes, not “Breaks” please, unless the topic is slackers.

The issue is not whether Rosetta was entitled to money or a ticket or a voucher or damages or whatever sort of compensation might be reasonable from the Vomit Comet. The issue is that she felt entitled to hold up an aircraft with passengers and crew for something they were not in a position to promise. They simply
