I look forward to see if Ocasio-Cortez is more going for her as a legislator, than a publicity machine setting up weekly straw men to knock down. It’s getting a bit much, like stories about the amazing exploits of Kim Jong Un. This week O-C is off and there is no real news about it, not even a singular fact, like that

I guess if they are hard up, they can sell more commercials, even let a telemarketer buy time if there is one so rich as to afford it.  The NFL might as well get paid for a publicity debacle, instead of shelling out.

Interestingly, the highest levels of formaldehyde you might be exposed to in clothing are going to be encountered with fabrics made from natural fibers, because it is used in the process to make cotton, ‘Wrinkle free.” There isn’t really very much formaldehyde released from clothing, though.

The criticism wasn’t particularly harsh, compared to some I get.

The problem of her not being brought to trial, or before a judge anyway, is that she refused to be interviewed by police several times, any one of which might have resulted in a decision to send her for a mental evaluation.  Eventually, when a public defender was appointed, she evidently didn’t cooperate with him

I didn’t say that the bail system is good, just that this case isn’t an indictment of it and may be the opposite.

I like airports.

Not everyone can afford to be poor the grown up way, with student debt.  And people with ordinary jobs like that can become wealthy and comfortable.  It just takes thrift and sacrifice and decades.

Some people in jail might not want their family to know. It could be that they don’t automatically tell everyone a prisoner knows, about the prisoner being in jail, to try to be nice. It is usually published in the newspaper, though.   After a person is dead, maybe they feel free to violate that privacy.  Or maybe it

Is this an indictment of the money bail system or exactly the opposite? The thesis that this woman had no money is probably false. She was jailed for $150 days all expenses paid. She lived outside independently. I believe she had some income that she was living on and probably was racking up hundreds or thousands of

More intelligent than even Ajunct Professors?

Years ago at my grocery store, a local guy nicknamed Eazy tried to buy cigarettes with weed or a ho with, I may say, limited charms.  Oddly, the ho seemed to be lodging at home with his wife.  I declined.

Maybe that suit is the prize for the most social credit in China.

Even jackasses should get help when contemplating suicide. If they live long enough, it will seem like a mistake later...usually.

Empathy is learned.  Give teens part time work or just deal.  Someday if they work tables or someone they care about does, then they will learn.  Or maybe they will just grow up.

My little supermarket sells Pennzoil 5W-30 for $5.39 and a private label for $3.39. So, get out of your bubble, and check brick & mortar prices, before you buy the hype.

The most beautiful women in the world don’t enter these contests unless they live in certain pageant obsessed countries. I don’t think Miss USA even gets all that many contestants anymore.

Could be the police department and prosecutor are playing hardball, because with that many officers involved, they have multiple angles of video, so much it might take weeks to review, and no worries that they will be embarrassed when it comes out. There may already be a decision to try the teen girl as an adult.

storing cookies in coffee cans is a definitely a grandma thing.  Mine did that too.

Inhumanly perfect, white teeth that may glow in the dark?
