This issue keeps hitting Ridley Scott. Blade Runner and Kingdom of Heaven had amazing director’s cuts. And Kingdom of Heaven’s director cut is the definitive version in my opinion.
I wish I knew what that means.
Same with Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven. The theatrical version felt all over the place and some scenes didn’t make much sense. But when he added the deleted scenes to the Director’s cut, it turned into a much more coherent film. And a better film!
