Martin’s a very wealthy man who can (probably - I can’t speak to how far 50 million Pound Sterling can take a given bloke) afford to live out the rest of his existence very comfortably.

Lost committed the sin of making me wish I had stopped watching after the end of Season 5. The amount of time my friends and I wasted discussing 5 seasons of that show which showed so much promise still sticks in my craw. I was so pissed that I was really fearful that Fringe would also end poorly, but that show broke…
Death definitely changes a man.
Maybe folks get misled by all the characters speaking with strong U.K. accents, but the opening credits sequence always shows a map of lands and seas not found on Earth... Maybe Neil DeGrasse Tyson could weigh in on the kind of astronomical axis/orbit combination that might lead to seasons so widely variable in length.
Bran saw it in a vision - he’s really Bran Hartley...
(See also the “Stark’s head was displayed on a spike and Joffrey forced Sansa to gaze upon it” complication...)
I’ve been working through the Travel Man series on Journy.
I want to spend some time with the chalk board in “The Ends of the Earth”, located on Looking Glass Key...
No, I get the finances of it. I get it that you can’t get a mega project going without Chinese financing and distribution, for example, and that you need the patronage of a younger demographic and that that all means PG-13 purgatory and often something overtly formulaic.
Not every story/movie needs to be one of the “highest-grossing movies of all time”. Sometimes a movie can just be one of the “best movies of all time”.
Some others not identified by name:
At the rate things are going, Kelly could qualify to run for POTUS some day “soon”.
Many decades ago we used to ask the server to make it half Shamrock/half Chocolate. It really hit the spot.
Steve could have really cared in and shouted “Hi, Regina!”.
I’m a big fan of heat, and I just wanted to give a shout-out to my latest crush:
Yes.
AV CLUB Warning: Don’t bring your mom into this!
I enjoyed The Catch for a while, but I did eventually drop out. I don’t think I’m happy living in Shondaland - I’ve flunked out of all those series.
Maybe Joe is called away to other projects or the show won’t hold together for any of a number of reasons. I don’t know how to evaluate the Cartoon Network.
I would prefer a segment hosted by Kelsey Melsky.
