How often was he saying it that it took him almost two years to stop?

I definitely remember the other folks in the group interview being of similar young age. And yet another family friend’s daughter went the Cutco route shortly after college and my folks took pity on her and bought some knives as well. It makes the image of the guy in Story#2 - who was in his late 40s - even sadder. 

Cutco Story #1: Over summer break from college I once got an “interview” for a sales position with Cutco. I showed up and learned it was a group interview, and it was basically them trying to brainwash the room talking about what a fun culture they had and how much $$$ you could make selling knives door-to-door etc.…

Awesome! At this rate, he should be able to reach “acceptable levels of racism for 2021" in....

Yay he won’t be using that word. In all of my 29 years of life I never used that word. Not even if it was song lyrics. I mean it’s not hard to use that word. 

Quite telling that his goal wasn’t to stop being racist, but just to stop being so obvious about it.

I realize it’s not his field but you gotta wonder what Professor J. Mark Ramseyer’s views are on the Holocaust and all the “volunteer labor” that was “contracted” in Europe.   

It has been accurately said that universities like Harvard are really hedge funds, with an educational program that serves as a fig leaf.

Yeah, just like all Japanese Americans “volunteered” to give up their property and freedom and go live in internment camps. Apparently, the German Americans being more “patriotic” saw no need for such “volunteering”.

I honestly don’t see how Harvard can keep its academic reputation if they tenure garbage people like this. Not only are his views horrendous, they are demonstrably false in every single way. People are paying a king’s ransom to have their kid learn straight up lies--the internet can do that for free.

What is with horrible people doubling down on horrible? Not only that, but shooting themselves in both feet professionally making such grotesque and easily disproved assertions? 

It’s kind of ridiculous that the paper made it through peer review, if there’s really no evidence at all for its key assertions.

Looking stylish maybe makes her feel confident and she needed all the confidence she could get?

When I was in high school, my then best friend had a very rigid fairytale idea for her future. She ended up marrying at 20. She and her husband were both teachers, and when they did job hunting, she insisted they were a package deal.
