‘2018 Washington DC.’

A few years ago, maybe 2013 or 14, Secretary Hillary Clinton came to my work (not Wall Street, tech company) for a fireside chat and to promote her book. She talked at length about her experience as SOS, and one thing she discussed was how much “small offenses” matter to so many leaders and countries around the world,

Yeah, but if you tax rich people at high rates, nobody will want to work hard to become rich or start businesses or create or invent. This is precisely why there were no rich people, businesses, or innovation back when the marginal tax rate was much higher for the wealthy.

No doubt he’ll make a modest proposal.

Oh, and y’all concern trolls can take your cries of “hypocrisy” and see if they protect you when Trump’s brownshirts have you up against the wall. Like, really, save it. People out here trying every legal way to prevent fascism and you’re tone policing and concern trolling about “optics.”

I’m sure you think you’re completely right, but you’re not. It’s a fundamentally cowardly position.

Accurate move set for a Trump Yungoos:

STOP calling them Alt Right!!! They are NEO NAZIS!! The fact that they’ve given themselves a harmless sounding name does not change what they truly are.

its this bullshit perpetuated by Gizmodo media that is why Hilary was so vilified by people this year.

Because that is what we do now. We can’t let people do anything good in this world without sifting through their past to find a reason to vilify them.

but noteworthy nonetheless.

Now playing

Sorry, but it’s not a legitimate “Best Of” if it doesn’t include this gem:

“Bush doesn’t care about black people.” -Kanye West, 2005.

Sort of like a pocket monster.

I’m starting to think that maybe we shouldn’t have elected this fella President, you guys.

So Trump got debate questions in advance too, eh? And he still tanked every single debate.

Yet you clicked and commented on an article about a show you haven’t liked since the previous century. Slow day at work?

Jason Chaffetz probably.

It gets a lot of media coverage. Probably less about the weak minded who are impressed by celebs and more about the coverage that so and so is working hard on the campaign trail. The news is free exposure.

I’ve wondered the same thing. If you watch mainstream network shows, esp. late night stuff, the hosts do not remain neutral, at least not this time. Every Trump dig gets a huge round of applause. I’m not too sympathetic but I would imagine it’s pretty alienating to those of a different persuasion. Altogether I think
