Don't apologize unless that's your actual intent. Get rid the word "sorry" from your vocabulary and maybe replace with a phrase "I apologize for..." or similar. Even if you're aware you've offended someone, the situation may not even call for an apology.
This is easy, wouldn't think there'd even be a question. If your out on business, highest ranking pays the bill and expenses it. If it's not business related then everyone gets a separate bill.

The whole idea that just because my subject fits "better" in vertical is garbage. At least as it applies to my phone. I tested horizontal vs vertical framing on a subject and it did not change the amount of or "size" of my subject.

Two lights bounced off the ceiling and and used the bottom reflector of two other work lights to fill in.

This one's a no-brainer. You don't need these anymore. All the music and movies you want are on the internet now or can be stored on a hard drive. So rip them and make some space on your shelves. Bonus: most urban recycling centers accept CDs and DVDs in your blue bin.
