So what's my best course of action? 15 mile drive that takes 40 minutes, but if I choose to bike, it would be a 20 mile ride that takes 2 hrs because of geography. Then you factor in the fact that I live in southern suburbs of Minneapolis. I don't think there's an easy way commute, they both suck.

The price APPLE pays for the components is lower than the rest of the industry. In the same sentence it's noted that their margins are higher, so yeah, they're not passing the savings on to the customers.
I can see other devices that pop in and are navigable within Finder, but see nothing within iTunes and on the Apple TV 2 with regards to home sharing.
Apple's home sharing is not working at all for me (Mac Pro w/10.6.x hardwired to router and Apple TV 2 on WiFi).
