The right wing media will spin anything they can as being positive for them. That’s not surprising.

Yep. The right wing nut job media complex will spin this as Project Veritas being the underdog and the victim in this.

Prediction - Yes, this story demonstrates how Veritas tells crazy lies to further their narrative. It also shows that WaPo (like NYT, etc) uphold standards of ethics and evidence. But it won’t budge the millions of people who trust crazy liars over fact-based journalism.

The video of the meeting is awesome. The reporter basically tells her “We know you’re bullshit and we’re running with the story that you’re bullshit.” The wanna-be-trickster at that point looks like she shit her pants.

My favorite part is that by trying to prove the Post wasn’t reliable, they effectively proved that the Post is reliable.

It’s feels like a true celebration of winter. That though it is the season of unknown dark and cold you can rely on the hope that burns inside you. Simultaneously warming the body and guiding the mind to Spring.
