    What big twist?

I never thought Kotaku would so blatantly side with the oppressors in this situation. Once free of the hated humans, Wrecking Ball was the name he chose.

That’s a good point—teachers federations have already come out against the change, and may well continue doing what they damn well please.

The sex ed curriculum in question is that taught in elementary schools, and to health students in grade 9, and it is not anti-LGBT to that extent. A psychology course, like the one mentioned in the tweet by Tegan and Sara, was a high school course which would have its own curriculum documents.

As a Canadian, and even someone from Ontario (I tried to write Ontarian, and it just looks wrong), this is depressing yes, but could be a lot worse. The sex ed curriculum from 1998 is not abstinence based, it doesn’t lie about STIs or birth control to scare kids. It was a reasonably good curriculum—it just needed

Oh, fuck off with your veiled insult. If you’re playing against a team a couple of thousand SR above you, you don’t learn any of that.  But it sounds like you struggle with not being an asshole to people who don’t agree with you, so don’t bother replying; I’m not going to read it.  Peace out, jerk.

Wow. Take a valium or something. Maybe do some research on how not to be a hostile jerk online. Oh, looks like some spelling research wouldn’t hurt either.

Did I bother to do any research before posting?” Yes, I actually did my dissertation on a single panel of Beetle Bailey. ‘Research.’ Wow. Did you try not being a sanctimonious prick?

I thought of that, actually, as well as...

Okay, but let’s take some specific ones. Corpse Run: I got the Breath of the Wild reference, at least partially, but is there a joke? He slept through the game world resetting itself? He slept a really long time? I don’t know.

I don’t get, like, half of these. Am--am I the problem?

Well, that would work until people caught on. When throwers/resetters have their SR of 500 or whatever, but are still getting matched up with teams of their old, high SR, I wouldn’t think the ruse would last for long.

Hey, no prob. I was really confused.

Who the heck is Delilah in Overwatch?

Rank resetting shouldn’t be an option, as I’ve discussed elsewhere in this thread. To summarize, it makes a bad experience for the genuinely low rank players having to play high skilled ones who are slumming.

You can learn something from losing sure, but you don’t learn anything being a bronze player losing to a grandmaster team beyond “I suck at this.”  When the hitscan heroes all feel like aimbots, and you get basically instantly killed, over and over again, what else is there to learn?

Because Blizzard is trying to create a decent experience for 2 teams of 6. If you have a team who are legitimately at 500 Sr, or whatever, up against a team that should be at 3500 but reset or threw and is now mid-climb, it’ll be a stomping of epic proportions. Until the reset/thrower team gets back up around where

Isn’t this something you can (and should) report them all for?

Exactly.  I feel a lot of people dismiss it ‘cause it’s funny, like Guardians of the Galaxy.’  There’s a lot more going on there.

No? When the beneficiaries of colonialism are themselves forced to become refugees after Hela returns to resume conquest? When Hela is willing to rule over a kingdom of reanimated corpses rather then give up her dreams of empire? That the only way to defeat Hela isn’t through greater force of arms, but to destroy the
