This game sounds cool, if a little janky, but the trope of vampires killing every time they feed bothers me, largely due to the logistics of it. If there is any substantial population of vampires in a setting, all feeding regularly and fatally every time, the number of dead people is going to become overwhelming

Yes, but this is an obvious and super OP bug. Now that it’s identified, there’s no way it goes live.

Fun fact the article didn’t mention: on the PTR Blizzard got rid of the attack/defence categorization for heroes. They’re all just damage now, with tanks and supports remaining.

I’ve got to say, the constant heaping of praise on Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 is getting tiresome, which are basically an equal parts cool and frustrating combat system attached to a generically bland fantasy setting and story. Pillars 1 suffered from a pretty generic fantasy setting, but Deadfire is head and

Yeah, I hate creative types being able to make a living at what they do too. Screw them for entertaining me, especially for free.

Goes? I dare you to search for Overwatch porn. Dare.

While it may not be raw burst that defines the issue for you, it’s what I was commenting on before you jumped in to tell me I was wrong. But anyway, wow much mechanical skill does Winston require? Moira? Reinhardt? Mercy? Symmetra? Junkrat? D.va?

If people want to complain about her CC, that’s valid. Her bash has already been slightly nerfed to a narrower hit box and a slightly longer cooldown. But complaining about her “high” burst damage isn’t. Because it isn’t high. Her damage is really really low. Zen and Ana can both do more damage as supports, though

I’m willing to accept “high burst damage for a support who isn’t Zenyatta,” because that’s been qualified enough to largely lose its meaning. I mean, it’s not entirely true—Ana has higher burst damage as well, her grenade and 2 shots beats out Brigitte’s burst damage. But it’s close to true.

Can the idea that Brigitte has “high burst damage” go die in a fire? Her burst damage, the damage she can get off in her stun combo, is 155. It takes all of her cool down abilities to do it, and it can kill precisely 1 hero from full health if executed correctly—Tracer.

Now, I am old, but this is who we’re talking about, yes?

Well, I can’t speak to your personal experience, but the numbers don’t support it. Rein beats Brig in a firestrike and 3 hits—2 would probably be enough except for her self-healing triggering; Brig beats Rein in some combination of a whip shot, a shield bash and 11 hits.

Not at all. Brig can initiate with her stun, and Rein will still win, assuming both have full hp at the beginning, and neither have ults, assuming similar skill levels for both players. She doesn’t do damage fast enough to kill him during the stun, or even prevent him from winning. Rein can charge her, get stunned out

Time travel would like to say: “Hi!”

Dr. Strange has the most to blame? He pretty much told us giving Thanos the stone was the only way to win.

Here’s a little narrative secret, particularly relevant to long form storytelling like comics and comic book movies: the only relevant stakes are emotional ones. Did seeing these characters go affect you? Then the stakes mattered—regardless of whether it gets undone.

As I said in the comment you replied to, Rein’s need to wait to charge her when her bash is down. Or from surprise, of course. But 1v1, Rein wins against Brig. Neither needs to aim, his damage is about twice hers, and so are his hp. Her stun is not enough to overcome that disadvantage.

So you don’t see a similarity between 2 ults that buff hp in a radius around the ulting character, vs. Valkyrie, that exclusively buffs Mercy’s own abilities? Okay. You’ve chosen a weird semantic hill to die on, buddy, but whatever.

Ah, gotcha. Could very well be the case!

They both buff your own and ally hit points in a radius around the character for a set period of time. Similar. Unlike say, Ana’s ult, which supercharges one allied target.
