Yeah, it’s a stupid theory. It’s not just plotting a line graph from a single point, it’s doing a connect-the-dots Mona Lisa from a single point. I always took it that the Targaryens are so heavily inbred that they have a ton of heavily recessive traits. The Stark traits were less dominant than the Tully ones, but more dominant than the Targaryen platinum hair & violet eyes.

But the projections for this round of VR are in the billions. And the investors in this round of VR aren’t looking for future iterations of the technology. They’re expecting money to be made soon. I think they’re going to be disappointed.

I know I’m not the first to doubt, but I think the current crop of VR isn’t going to be the sea-change some are expecting. The entry cost is too high (and for the two biggies, also dependent on having a high-end PC) and the games are pretty much banking on novelty alone at this point.
