So rather than do something else with your time, you needed to play video games and stealing them was the only way you could tell if they were “worth your time”.

Mmhmm. I’m pretty sure something both sides can agree on is that self improvement is important. Everyone has their flaws, but it’s those that seek to learn and better themselves that deserve recognition and respect.
and made people feel like they weren’t morally reprehensible cookie jar thieves for their piracy habits.
Personally I prefer games to be made not-shit, and then released. I have enough games to play while I wait for that.
Dark Matter: Season 2 hells yes.
On the topic of defending DSII, I think the main reason it got so much backlash was because Dark Souls I was such a focal point. At that time, DSI was really the only one of it’s kind (not including Demon Souls), and because it was so well loved and developed, people expected a lot from it’s sequel. DSII was a really…
Yeah, the thing about RE4 and previous games, is the ever so famous “tank controls”. Many people view this as poor, clunky controls from a bygone age of gaming, but in truth everything that RE1-4 was doing was completely intentional. The devs knew the controls were clunky, they are supposed to be. It basically forces…
It’s sad, but you’re right. Revelations is arguably much more deserving of the “flagship” title for RE. The first one was pretty slim as far as enemy types and items, but retained an older feeling of survival horror. Revelations 2 continued that, but added much more variety.
I agree the first Dead Space was the best, and the second one was okay (relied too much on jump scares). However, even though the 3rd title threw all that away, co-op is quite fun once you get over the fact that they butchered their own game due to it’s popularity. (Game devs seriously need to stop pandering to the…
The platforming in this game is really nice! I’ve gotten to places I thought I shouldn’t be, discovered several collectables ahead of time, and even found alternate methods to climb certain locations that would have normally required Seth or the flyer. I even went through an entire puzzle backwards in order to get to…
I’m right there with you. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game, and have no problem with spending some time to explore a bit more than the story requires. The game is more about the world and exploration than it is about the story anyway.
I believe that last bot is coming as DLC. That being said, it’s slot probably shouldn’t have been shown yet, as that could be misleading.
I loved Dragon’s Dogma! Seriously underrated. I played the game when Dark Arisen came out, so I had access to fast travel. However, I have a “thing” about certain games, so I only used the fast travel a couple times during my 120-hr stay in that game. I found it much more enjoyable to embrace the original design of…
Inventory management isn’t really a thing in this game. It’s more about upgrades that you work out every once in awhile, whenever you return to a “hub”.
I know it’s the “in thing” to compare games to NMS, but these two cases could not be any more different.
Alright so no one has to pay attention to me, but people always bring up the metacritic score in the review comments for this game. I understand the need for criticism very well, and I also understand how reading some reviews can help you make an informed purchase. But let me state one thing before I continue my…
If it at the very least is as good as ICO or Shadow, then it will be amazing.

I don’t know if that’s an unpopular opinion as much as it is an un-voiced opinion. I liked it too. Loud minorities tend to throw off developers from what the silent majority actually wants/likes.
This event wasn’t about ME, it was about PS4 and it’s new graphics capabilities. Because that is a true fact, Bioware chose a bit of their game to show off graphic capabilities in a spoiler-free way. Crazy idea, I know. What were they thinking!?
