That’s the basic funding, but scholarships come from whatever revenue is there. Those government appropriations would be gone. And general funds would be diverted back to the school, not necessarily put into scholarships.

There would not be more scholarship money for academics without sports. Without the money coming in from sports programs, that scholarship money would mostly or completely dry up
