The previous Nick crossover game, Nickelodeon Kart Racers (from a different developer) was criticized for this exact reason. Hopefully All-Star Brawl is a bit less cheap with the voices than that game was. I mean, Nick has hours and hours of archived voicework from each of these characters, so there’s no shortage of…
My concern is that the game heavily favors competitive play at the expense of casual play. The lack of items and crazy stages makes everything feel so sedate.
It’s a scam because an NFT is not actually selling the artwork; it’s selling a receipt that absolutely nobody is legally obligated to acknowledge or respect. It’s like if I tried to buy the Mona Lisa, but instead of giving me the Mona Lisa they show me a slip of paper that says “you now officially own the Mona Lisa”…
Still waiting on NFTs to die a slow, undignified death, world. Hurry it up, kay?
100% hard agree. I haven’t even thought about pirating a PC game in over a decade. Why would I, when it’s literally easier to just buy it?!
I think at first it kind of seems like having someone who died in a profile would be a bad thing. At least that’s what I initially thought. A constant sad reminder. But it turns out, it’s kind of a nice reminder of good times.
I’ve got a friend who died a few years ago of a heroin overdose on my profile still. We…
Steam was such a paradigm shift when it took off that I wonder how much people who were too young before then understand.
I think the difference is that most people truly know smoking is bad for them. But they’re just too tired, busy, stressed, or plain old addicted to put in the very hard work to quit. But refusing a covid vaccine is just willful ignorance.
I get your point, but smoking is a little different - the coronavirus doesn’t have a multibillion-dollar industry dedicated to infecting people before they are old enough to decide it’s a bad idea, and the virus isn’t one of the most addictive substances known to humanity. And there is no culture where people are…
I have never smoked in my life, but I can understand people getting hooked on smoking at a young age or while in a stressful job more than I can understand so-called medical professionals deciding not to get vaccinated without a serious reason. If they’re smoking outside, at least the only people they are harming are…
What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?
I just finished Berseria a few minutes ago and have no idea what you could be referring to.
Not really sure what you mean about sex stuff. But you missed out on a great game.
The thing is that it’s a good feature that is being abused by a small, and hateful, group of individuals. I’ve discovered many good streamers simply by “raiding” them after watching a streamer I enjoy. It genuinely helps streamers with gaining new followers/subscribers.
Unfortunately because Twitch has no discoverability tools, so users rely on the ability to send their viewers to other streamers. Maybe if they had their act together in that regard they could scale the raid feature down, but that still wouldn’t stop people from organizing the raids outside of the built-in feature.
... What an awful solution. The feature is great for helping bring smaller streamers a larger audience, giving them an opportunity to shine. If say someone with a 5k audience raids someone with a 500 person audience that’s views, ad revenue, potential subs. Why take that away because some asshole is being an asshole?…
