That 356 has been rallied on every continent and driven by a mother and daughter team. It wasn't fast, but it was totally badass.

That’s me in the #7 911
Love it. Mine doesn’t look as good right now. 50mm shorter after a mislabelled jump. Ran 50km of stage with my toes pulling back the accelerator that was stuck open to 5000rpm. No clutch either as the entire floorpan had been pushed up. The accident cost us 3rd, but after 8 days and 20 stages of rallying we finished…
I experimented with public, but as of right now I’m all private. Take a look at Tuthill Porsche on Youtube. They posted videos, one of which I’m in, and they will post a round up with a lot of great footage in the coming days.
I competed in it for the first time this year. Finished 4th. It was the toughest driving I have ever done.
Good battle until he hit me, lost a few positions, my co-driver passed him later.
Silver Cobra, COB 13A, chasing the white Corvette with the blue stripe was me! I started racing because of Goodwood and just over a year after my first race in a VW Scirocco, I took the start of the TT in a 289.
and this is coming from a Senna owner....
That is the ugliest car I have ever seen, and I’ve seen Swan cars that literally leave turds behind... OK, cool performance, but you'd have to be blind to buy one...
037 is great. Stratos is the great. I made my choice a long time ago though! The one below is mine.
I think it looks pretty good!
Woohoo! Cake!
When someone else passes him the car! I’ve done my YT bit with Seen Through Glass!
Must be glad you didn't buy one then ;)
I’ll leave that to McLaren or someone braver than me. I like this car, thats why I bought it. I’ve shared it with my friends, letting them drive it and ride in it on track, but it is expensive and pro drivers care more about times than they do the cars they are driving.
It means that you are going slower because you are not on throttle and in the wrong gear to reduce the engine rpm and therefore the sound.
I don’t think I’m getting the most out of it, but I am using it for what is made for. The only thing with braking there is making sure that you are straight. Any angle on the steering reduces the initial braking so much so that you will blow the corner.
Windows. In the US, they like windows down at trackdays to pull you out in case you crash. As I can’t get out of the window, nor can you reach the door mechanism through them from the outside, I see no point having them open when I’m on track.
There are semi-slick hoosiers that a 650S was running, but I am not sure about the suspension taking the lateral load increase. I still have a lot to go to reach the max potential of the car. Until then, I don't see the point in modifying, except for maybe turn away pipes for Laguna.
I’m not in the US that often unfortunately. Next time I’ll be driving this car will be in November during a Pure McLaren event in Bahrain. Hopefully will do more track days in the US with the Senna around Christmas or early next year.
