I too would love a central seated McLaren but the YouTube channel running LA instagrammers would find that undignified to get in and out of.

Celebrity deaths usually don’t mean crap to me. But I was genuinely sad for a week when George Carlin died.
I guess you’re right for now but I think in the long term once all the FD’s die out and their numbers drop the collector market will leap for the unusual rotary powered car. Odd engine variants like straight eights and such command high values because of their rarity and the rotary is equally as special.
The thing is, the collector car market isn’t rational and the FD is special enough for people to overlook it’s faults. The rotary is unique and to many collectors unique = better. It’s also super lightweight, very fast, and one of the prettiest japanese cars ever made. The 3000gt is only one of those things. I’m not…
That goes in the spank bank.
Whoops honest mistake. I’m usually pretty good about these things too.
I feel you man. I’m here just trying to get back in shape (pullup lol) and struggling to understand what the hell is going on with android development and some Danish guy is out winning a grand prix.
The FD has value and is appreciating. The 3000gt will only last as long as it’s owner loves it.
Yet back then the econoboxes that most people drove were still crap. Yes the 90s was a glorious time for incredible JDM halo cars (remember depreciation made these cars affordable, they were still expensive new), but at no time in history has there been as many incredible affordable daily drivers as there are today.
You really are raising Otto to be a real cool kid.
Low mileage m5 with a cocaine white leather interior that’s still cocaine white for less than 20k...is this even a question? Generally a luxury car with a still white leather interior usually sits on auction blocks with the cling wrap still on.
I go to u of m and this is accurate. Not quite as bad as some of the other examples people brought up but everytime you see a new expensive car (911 gt3, BMW m4, c63, range rover, etc.) it’s usually driven by a foreign Chinese student that will pretend to ignore you when you give them the “nice car” thumbs up. Except…
Let’s hope in a sudden twist of irony that Scot Zediker wins COTD. Then this comment would be the beautiful steamy love child between irony and a bad pun. (edited because I forgot what puns were)
Having seen one in person, words can’t describe how perfect it is. Also how small. It is a tiny tiny car. It made the 4c next to it look like a freaking aventador.
You forgot to mention the value of nice meaty low-mid range torque. Most everyday drives happen between 1-4k rpm and that’s where you want your power.
I realized it was futile right after I posted it.
I logged in just to start this
Oh myyy. That took an unexpected turn.
COTD
One of these is not like the other.
