Tbf Supra has been making 339 hp to the wheels so that’s close to 400 hp. Also they look pretty sweet in real life and there will be a manual!

They are everywhere in Northern Virginia. Super popular among young rich Asian Americans. That and the Civic Type R. I’m sure the 400z will be as well.

Just last week, I dropped off a friend at the BWI MARC station only to have to pick her up and drive her to DC because it was cancelled last minute. Hopefully they really mean it when they say they are adding more trains.

I think the Turbo 4 super coupes are pretty cool looking (better than the Fox Body imo). Also a manual, v8, retro ‘02 Thunderbird would have been pretty cool! Probably wouldn’t have sold any better.

You know, the only thing I ever use my radio for is NPR. All my music is streamed through Spotify and played over bluetooth. Shit, if anything, I wish cars came with a button that just took you straight to your local NPR member station. I would pay for that option.

Remember when GT-Rs were sub 100k cars? Pepperidge Farm remembers

Grew up and currently live in the DMV. Can confirm that I am an asshole.

The R35 is pretty cool too

As a kid I thought the 2nd gen was a newer car than the 3rd gen!

The facelifted C4 is the best looking Corvette outside of the C2. It’s such a clean design.

Upper middle class and higher Northern Virginia Indian and Asian Americans bought these in droves when they were new and they are still driving them. Fits two grandparents in comfort and two kids in no comfort at all. Those kids have been crammed in Tata Indicas and Suzuki Swifts during trips to India though so they

Lol wut. Looney left...He sicced the SEC on Robinhood investors and defended wall street in less than 24 hours. GTFOH. What could possibly make you think that?

Those of you who hate on Buses don’t understand just how mythical these bikes were to those of us who grew up in the early 2000s. We ALL believed that they could go 200 mph. FWIW, I absolutely love the look of Hayabusa, especially more so than the hideous ZX-14 (arguably a better bike). There’s nothing on the market

As a HUGE fan of my manual third gen Fit I just want to remind everyone that there are Honda backed factory Fit’s rally racing quite successfully in FWD classes! You can even buy a Honda factory rally suspension setup! https://hpd.honda.com/motorsports/Rally

I came here to comment just that! I have ‘15 ex with manual, sunroof, and keyless entry (i.e. perfect used car) that I got with 14,000 miles at $15,000. It’s super cheap to run and great fun to toss around but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone going up to the mountains.

I think part of the reason they are doing better than I expected is because they are the perfect sports car to commute on horrible DC roads in. And unlike the 8 series, it’s small (not light, physically small) and easy to weave in and out of things. I do see a decent amount of 8 series’ though (almost all m850i’s)

I live in Northern Virignia where most of these things are sold. I see WAY more LC500's than AMG GT’s, Supras and 8 series’.

I have a 3rd gen fit. My 6'5" buddy absolutely cannot fit. Enough headroom yes but the seat won’t go back far enough. You can fit but not comfortably.
