I would have froze. I have an irrational fear (well, maybe it would be rational if I was in his position) fear of being hit by a train.

It’s pretty ridiculous that the market has created a group of people who will pay over sticker to get a mass-produced product slightly sooner than the rest of the population, but I also can’t hate on those people because they’re the ones keeping the new car market going.

Ironically, the article wont let me reply. These guys are drinking the good stuff today!

I had the same first impression about hitting heads but estimating the location of the head rests based off where the wheel well is the roof there is still basically windshield level. They are also hiding the true dimensions of the car with that two tone coloration. It’s intended to look low profile but in reality

Realize that a lot of what you are seeing is a visual trick. Ford did the same thing on the Mach E.

Sloping roofline: “I’m not a regular CUV, I’m a cool CUV”.

It could be sold here and I don’t think I would notice.  Looks like every other vehicle in my local parking lot.

“I was underwater on my Suburban for a significant amount of time, and now I have a reservation on a Rivian.”

I was shocked that not only do I finally have positive equity”

I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Maybe you’re right, or maybe the muscle car class of vehicle is just on life support. If muscle cars are an endangered species, it makes sense given the world in which we live. If you’re right, then this is definitely peak muscle car!

This is just an awful take.

I like the ‘68 Charger more than other years (round taillights for life!), but I’ve got to consider more than one specific model.

So there are no muscle cars is what you are saying.

Dodge Demon. I’m young so recency bias, but Dodge just looked everyone in the eyes and said “Yeah it does wheelies and has a warranty”

Totes read that “Casualties are expected.” in Toto’s voice!

  • Did Russell take a risk on a damp track. YES

Fuck around and find out!

The LaFerrari is a mild hybrid, not a battery EV. It’s less electrified than a Prius so I’m not sure what your point is.

Trucks managed to keep the faith well into the 90s.
