Woah, that’s right. I honestly forgot because it was so similar to the Grand Cherokee. I guess when I hear Durango I still automatically think “closed bed Dakota from 2002.”

I remember back when that photo of the old Tacoma in front of the F250 went viral, some idiot at Ford tried to point out that a current F150 gets better mileage than that Taco when it was new.

All very fair points. I just selfishly think the Ram is the best looking truck out there right now, and an SUV version would rule.

Lol, no worries. It’s hard to pick on anything in particular from the Malaise era because it was all so bad.

A quick google search that the G29 is functional on the PS5 without any adapter shenanigans. This is awesome news, but I also have to imagine that this will really hurt sales of G923. For a product that is intended to be the entry level version into this whole market, having the previous model be fully compatible on

Maybe it’s only with the benefit of retrospect, but I think we can comfortably say their both objectively bad cars.

I’ve seen this apologetic take on the Mustang II quite frequently, and I just won’t stand for it. What GM did to Saturn is thing that Ford did to the Mustang, just stretched out to an entire brand. The difference is that the Mustang changed the industry, whereas Saturn was just GM catching up with the Japanese.

Did people hate that those things when they were new? My dad had a mid 90's Beretta and liked it until it got crushed by a reversing box truck.

Yeah, but Chevy didn’t have the audacity to claim that the Vega was the successor to the Chevelle SS or something.

I get this sentiment, but the Durango has been dead for a long-ass time, and if they actually did bring it back, I think they would make it a Ram.

If FCA really wants to get in on the BOF SUV fun, I personally think a wagon body on the Ram 1500 front clip would look excellent, but I guess they really think they have to capitalize on Jeep’s #brand by resuscitating the Wagoneer.

Eh, there’s actually a bit of nuance to this. Local police/riot control are a lot more liberal with their use of force than the sort of Feds that secure the capitol (hence why most of the tear gassing and real confrontational stuff happened in the streets, not the capitol). People who work for the secret service need

For the love of God yes. I know there’s a sentiment that ignoring this base of people is part of the problem, but I’d argue that...*gestures at everything* this is what happens when you stop ignoring them. If the Trump campaign didn’t get so much air time in 2015, these people never would not be leaving their shacks

That’s a valid point, but being a husk of its former self I think is more topical.

This should be its own main post. Given, y’know, *gestures emphatically* everything.

I was on the highway in southern Illinois one morning that a squall rolled in and sent visibility from clear to <5 feet in about 10 seconds. It may sound pedestrian compared to the snow stories everyone is telling here, but going 85 and suddenly not being able to see past the hood of the car is the brownest moment I’ve

Exactly. Every stripper model that shows up on a lot will at least have the “convenience package” that will include the power windows and a few other basic items. The only way your getting a truck with zero options is a direct order, and Ford probably won’t do it unless you get a few of them.

Hell yes, the best thing about using their site is watching google translate try and make sense of it.

I think the similarity is rooted more in aero being such a huge point of emphasis on EV’s. The whole “crossover hatchback” thing is the closest to a raindrop shape that can be produced at the moment. Obviously aero is important for all cars, but when the literal range is a put-off for so many people, a shape that
