While I do share the exact fandom as you, I have to say, the single championship race is the only part of the format I don’t like. The Stage/playoff point system does a great job of insulating guys who perform extremely well from a few mediocre playoff races*. But in the end, that’s just asking who of the top four

Yeah this is the right take. The surface level stuff is enough for me to stay far away  from it, but the important bits look clean enough that it’s a NP to..... someone.

Well, it certainly seems like it could be worse. A handful of people I know at big companies have gotten laid off in the last couple months. While they already have some prospects elsewhere, it still does not bode well.

Neutral: I mean, the ‘ole ‘Rona has been absolutely brutal on a huge amount of people, but it’s only been an inconvenience for a lot of people as well. Heck, there’s a lot of people that have wound up with extra spending cash from not going out and doing as much. A lot of this rebound is probably based on purchases

1st: This really shouldn’t be a huge surprise. The batteries and motors needed to match current torque figures on HD trucks for any reasonable range would probably make them heavier to the point it would take significant chunks out of the tow rating. And regardless of of how many of the customers use that tow rating,

Good lord, yes. Although it doesn’t even need to be the big ticket items as much as the volume crossovers. Lee Iacocca figured this out in the 80's and only like 1/3rd of the industry acknowledges it. We would probably still have the CT6 and God knows what else with the Blackwing if Cadillac had just made the XT4 5 &

As someone who works for a commercial electrical contractor that has distribution centers make up a fairly large chunk of it’s backlog, I can tell you, this EV van shit is real and its coming fast. That One Big E-Commerce Supplier That I Cannot Name But You Sure As Shit Know Who It Is has been sending out plans for

When getting an EV version of an extremely normal-ass car like CRV is a similar premium to just upgrading to the biggest engine. $35,000 for a model 3 is still just not affordable for a lot of people, and everything cheaper like the bolt is too small for mass market in the US.

I have a family friend who was the lone survivor of a rollover with 9 people inside. These things are about as safe a live grenade.

Well this is an absurd thought that just ran through my head. Is it unnecessarily cold for a next of kin to offer to help pay for a nicer car knowing it’s going to be theirs someday? I mean, it’s a bit dark, but if that’s the difference between the elders getting to enjoy a nicer car or not then why not?

Snowing in Chicago this morning. On my drive to work, my shuffle brought up “Kokomo” by the beach boys and I just started laughing maniacally.

Huh. I was unaware of this generation of Continental. Quite handsome if I’m honest. Not my color, but pretty cool regardless. Curious what it would like in black.

A garage. With that. And the CaddyC8.

I don’t think they spend much time campaigning for safer cars around here, just cars that are safer for pedestrians.

This statement remains evergreen, but it’s disappointing there isn’t anything new in the us market that picks the first two (as long as we are labelling the Fiesta-or-equal Not Cheap).

Can there be a time and place for it around here, though? I don’t mind you guys addressing all that political stuff to some extent, but having that suck up like half the characters in a “review” is exhausting. Shouldn’t a review mainly be about the vehicle’s accomplishment of it’s intended purpose?

Hey now, my criticism/praise ratio for GM is normally around 95/5. Even though this and the C8 seem great, I’m still not forgiving them for what De Nyschenn did to Cadillac.

If I kept it down, would I then be a Dunk?

If the front trunk is a frunk, isn’t a back (normal) trunk a bunk?
