Ghostbusters 2016 controversy was barely about sexism. It was a lot of good reasons to dislike a terrible movie. The marketing machine spun it on sexism to try to avoid the fact that its script was awful

I really like the cast and director. Despite this, the movie was still atrocious. It suffers from a terrible script and immature humor. That’s all. The talent was there. The writing was not.
