Because people buy what they want to buy. It's why despite PS4 being a "more powerful machine (marginally)" the Xbox One is still selling well. So people, generally, don't freakin' care about power. And if they did then why would they buy a console at all? What are you people not getting???

Get the fuck off my thread. I never once said 'consoles make more money than PCs'. Running around postulating about how great and powerful PC gaming is means fuck all to the millions buying consoles because of convenience, and they just want shit that works.

"A kill is empty unless it causes actual misery to a real human."

You've stated no facts, as I've just explained to you.

Look, I know you PC gamers just loooove your PC, but you're not the majority of consumers. Why buy an Xbox One? 'Cause it's $400 and parents don't have to shop that hard for something their kids can play games on. So while consoles are not attractive for PC gamers (which you've told us many times) they'll still sell

Oh I definitely think the X1 is better, but I think general opinion is the 360's probably the best ever.

Nah.

Nah.

Style < user experience.

The pinnacle was/is the 360 controller. But I digress. I know I never wanna hold a "Duke" again, though. The xbox controller iteration has been most impressive.

Party Chat on XBL has to be the greatest feature to come out of last gen, for this exact fact. I don't wanna talk over obnoxious gamers to my friends in a lobby; and since most games I play online are shooters I'm either playing with them or the game itself isn't that deeply rooted in actual teamwork and I can just

...uhh, that's how it's always done. For everything. Ever. Cost of production is factored into the cost of the product. They just need to see where they can give a little. It'll never be dirt cheap, it doesn't have to be. Just affordable, while covering most of their costs.

It's not a good analogy. You'd assume the "gold oven" is superfluous and not worth the extra cost. While I think PS Now should be cheaper, I don't think it's not worth a small extra cost given it's delivery method and relative to going and buying it.

Terrible analogy. Cost of materials is almost always factored in the cost of the product, wherever you buy it from. I wouldn't pay extra for a cupcake in a golden oven 'cause that's ridiculous. But this is wildly different.

I don't see why it was an issue to be raised anyway. It's in beta.

Are you guys that impatient that you have to whine like this? It's in beta. What could possibly lead you to believe it won't have PS1/PS2 games in the future?

1. Besides Madden, all those games are the latest in their franchise with a new one not coming any time soon.

This is so silly to even say. It's valuable to EA's customers, especially those moving to Xbox One soon and don't have those games.
