Yeah, no. There's probably been twice where I've been unable to get on XBL. Individual games, on the other hand, are a different story — they all don't run on Microsoft's servers.

You really can't talk about cloud computing here since none of the people commenting have no idea how it works, and just spout off stuff.

The calculations are done way ahead of time, held in the cloud. Data packets for that are very small, so throughput wouldn't be a problem. It's more about the ping.
